'Friendship and Devotion' Reader Challenge deadline is this Friday!

In the August/September 2013 issue of Quilting Arts, we challenged our readers to create an 8" x 10" art quilt based on  "Friendship and Devotion." Have you sent in your entry? If not, there's still time but hurry!

Strong friendships create some of the most powerful relationships we have in our lives. Most of us remember our first friend from childhood–and the last time we disagreed. We have best friends, shoe-shopping friends, imaginary friends, fair-weather friends, and frenemies. Sometimes a friendship lasts forever, but occasionally it is the source of heartbreak.  All of these complex emotions lead to this burning question: Who's your BFF? You still have time to put your thoughts into a quilt!

To be considered for the reader challenge, please read the rules here (you may need to scroll down). And, most importantly, send us your submission by September 20!

We so look forward to receiving your entry. I'll post the list of finalists on this blog September 27 so check back to see if your quilt is chosen.
