Sure, you're a great quilter, but do you have what it takes to teach?
|Lesley Riley, here with her 'Ten of Cups' quilt at the SAQA
Tarnish exhibit, will present 'What it Takes to Teach–
Quilting and More' in a live web seminar May 28, 2014.
Fresh from the opening of Tarnish, an exhibition of contemporary textile works made by members of Studio Art Quilt Associates, Inc. (SAQA), where her stunning "Ten of Cups" quilt was shown, Lesley Riley has agreed to share her tips, tools, and techniques for deciding whether teaching is for you and, if so, how to go about it.
In a live web seminar, "What it Takes to Teach – Quilting and More with Lesley Riley" hosted by our friends at Quiltmaker, Lesley will help you combine your art skills, knowledge, personality, and style into classes that your students will love, recommend, and want more of. There will be plenty of time for questions!
When: May 28, 2014

- A pros & cons checklist to help you make the decision to teach
Lesley has been teaching quilting and fiber art classes for more than 17 years, from Artfest to Australia, local shops to international events and now online.
