You can use several of these Therm-O-Web products and fabric scraps to make this cute and practical Laminated Letters place mat. Print the letters in reverse onto HeatnBond. Peel off the letters, arrange them on your place mat top fabric, and iron. Cover with HeatnBond Iron On Vinyl and iron. Layer your laminated top with No Sew Fleece. Stitch, turn, and top stitch.

That's just one idea. I'm sure you can think of dozens more!

Every week this month-May 1-31, 2014–Therm O Web, makers of HeatnBond®, is giving away hundreds of dollars in prizes including a $200 shopping spree at Therm O Web's online store.

  1. Iron-On Vinyl Gloss? Wow, where have I been. Sign me up–I’m off to search where to find that–I could really have used that in my last project.

  2. Wow! This is right up my alley! I love to experiment on small projects that are what I call quiltlets. They make good gifts most of the time (I have failures, too).

  3. I just found out about the bonding items a couple of weeks ago. Sure wished I had known about it on my other quilting projects man it would have taken off a world of stress. This really helps to keep the material where you want it while you sew. I have never won anything of value, won’t it be funny if I won this, one of my favorite produces, the other is Clorox Clean-up. Well, thanks for reading this anyway. Have a wonderful day!

  5. Oh, if only they were available outside the country. I really miss them a lot. I import what I can afford but usually just do without or figure out something else which is very time consuming.
