It's rather amazing. I live in the low, very hot hot hot desert. Drinking water while out and about is essential. I learned this lovely trick from a gas station cutie. Put ice cubes in large cup. Pour in HOT water. (The hot water for making coffee). Put lid on and get your straw. I was amazed to experience a COLD drink throughout the remainder of the time I was drinking the water. Approximately four hours while running around, in the hot sun, keeping the cup in the car and coming back to refreshing, cold water. Impressed! :-)

But I know the basic idea is the same. I go for using wrist warmers when it's cold. I would go for "wrist coolers" when it's hot. Damp wrist warmers/coolers made in cotton will cool the blood passing the wrist while they dry.

Love the colours in the fabric giveaway. Hope they will find their way to Scandinavia.

Of course, that's an ideal life, but I generally do everything I would ordinarily do, and work on small projects that I can do in my recliner while watching tv at nite, instead of the hand quilting that would be too warm in my lap.
