Wow us with your ATC

13 Sep 2012

I am a hopeless romantic. My knight in shining armor is one, too. Every day, we show each other what's in our hearts with notes, texts, photos, and other tokens of affection.

Well, you can show us "What's in Your Heart" by participating in our latest reader challenge and Artist Trading Card (ATC) swap! Whether you save love letters in a shoe box or relish a good rom com at the local movie theater, we invite you to show us your interpretation of the theme in the ATC format.

Another fun feature of this challenge: it's also a swap. After the ATCs have been received and photographed, they will be distributed amongst all the participants. Make one, get one! (Only one entry per person will be allowed, however.)

This challenge was introduced in the August/September issue of Quilting Arts Magazine, and we have received many beautiful entries. Thank you so much to all of the participants! We are continually impressed by the talents of you, our readers. The photos here are examples of ATCs we have received that have been uploaded to the Share Your Quilt & Fiber Art page.

If you haven't yet made or sent your ATC, please do! We look forward to seeing it. Hurry, though. November 5, 2012 is the deadline for your ATC to arrive in our offices. Visit our reader challenge blog for more details and important contest information.

Looks like fun! I've never made an ATC but have been attracted to them for years. This challenge could be just the nudge I need. But....

Unfortunately, the links that I've clicked for the reader challenge page, from this blog and under the Artist Opportunities drop-down menu, go to a Quilting Arts subscription page.

As Anois said, the link sends us to subscription, not the rules. Or is that your intention?

Yes, I too would like to enter but the link doesn't follow through

So sorry for the broken link, everyone.  Please email me at and I will send you the ATC challenge rules.  Please put "ATC challenge rules" in the subject line.  Best, Kristine Lundblad, Assistant Editor
