My studio needs a makeover because it is currently a combination of scrapbooking, knitting and quilting and I need more room to quilt. I just discovered art quilting and can't wait to get started.

I would love to have a creative makeover for my studio. It is crammed in to our guest bedroom and I have to rearrange everything each time someone visits. I waited years for retirement so I could "practice" my art and now am finding the space crowded, a bit claustrophic and unwelcoming.

My whole life needs a creative makeover - i just turned 50 and still don't know what i want to be when i grow up! If i knew - i could clear all the possibility supplies in my craft room and make room for the real creative me! Fabric? Stamps? photography? Paints? printing making? yes! and more!

My Studio/office/storage room is an unholy mess. I need less furniture and more hidden storage space, and if I'm honest, I need to have a pitching spree. My Beloved has threatened divorce if I don't clean out a considerable portion of this "junque". I'm pretty sure she's not serious, but just in case...Please, please save my marriage! Since my darling daughter moved back home with her 4yo son and gave birth to a baby in Dec, I have been up to my eyeballs in grandkids. I love them, but it leaves me little time to do what I know needs to be done. I have some really nice stuff here but I can't get at it; it's under piles of not-so-nice stuff, paperwork, and 1/2 finished projects. I don't even have a flat surface to create upon. :-( I think I'm beyond amateur help, so bring on the professionals! Thank you so much for listening to my plea.

I took a vacation today from work to decompress and reconnect with the quilting world. I have been attempting to return to that relationship I once had with my sewing studio, the place where the cares of the world are soothed between layers of fabric. I felt like I had lost a good friend. So my new daughter-in-law invited me to visit Quilt National in Athens, Ohio with her, she the jewelry artist, me the quilter. Inspiration, Endorphins, Laughter, Amazement, and "look at this!! Oh and look at that one"!!!

I was high for 2 days from the experience. It prompted me to find your website and order some back issues of Cloth, Paper, Scissors Studios as well as some other back issues of Quilting Arts for any "relapses" I may have!! I always considered myself fairly traditional in my style, can't draw a lick except for maybe stick figures, which is why I was drawn to quilting in the first place 22 years ago.

You have opened up a whole new world for me. I am now compelled to attempt some art pieces based on flowers and trees, especially trees!! Now I need to experiment with your Makeover Kit for all the techniques I have been missing out on. My creative spirit has been made over, Now just need the tools to start the process.

I've committed to making a small quilt a day for the month of August and I need help. I'm already three days behind and trying to think smaller and quicker. Seems like the kit would help. Sherry Haefele

Hope it's not too late to enter!

The reason why I'd like a creative makeover is that I'm completely drained out of my creative mind & muse. I've been working day & night, preparing for the opening of a solo exhibit and now I'm sitting empty. Depleted in a good way, but honoring what just happened: I just "birthed" a series of paintings and I am artistically wiped out! I see some new products that I haven't tried before and I know that experimenting/playing again will get me going in the studio.

Because my studio is basicaly piles/bins of craft/art supplies and unfinished projects all over my house in Ohio and my boyfriend's apartment here in New York!

I would LOVE to win those pretty art supplies. :)
