My First Quilt Market!

18 May 2011

Last weekend I attended the International Quilt Market in Salt Lake City, Utah. This was my first Market experience, and I enjoyed every second of it.  It was so great to meet face to face with people that I have communicated with solely through email. It was also a treat to see some of the new trends, fabric lines, gadgets, and quilts that people have come up with. As a team, we discovered some great new products, ideas, and art that we cannot wait to share with you in upcoming magazines. Stay tuned for more details and hints!

Here are a few pictures of us in our own booth at the show:

As I mentioned, I was very excited to meet people that I previously have only communicated with through email.  I was very excited to meet the Jung family in person. Here is an update on the Jung family – the fabric designers that were featured in this blog post. They have a new line out, as well as a new member of their team!

Awesome Lindsey!   I had the opportunity to go with a fabric designer, but it just didn't work out this time... but I dream of my first market.  Hope you post lots of pictures of it.
