Love everything about this piece your working on. I love hand stitching I used to do it as a kid and rediscovered my love for it by taking some online classes.

The bird is painted on the organza? That is so beautiful. I lurve your birds! And the handstitching is wonderful. Still debating whether my current project is wanting some handstitching. It is part of a challenge for my quilt group which meets tomorrow night so I don't have a lot of time to decide! The biggest problem is that it is so big! The challenge was to make a banner sized piece - 2 meters long by 50 cm wide. Wish me luck! I'll post a picture on Wednesday.
