So it’s been about two months (and five days, to be exact) since I’ve started working at Quilting Arts magazine. I’m officially settled in—evidenced by the gradual accumulation of stuff all over my desk. Fortunately, it’s pretty lovely stuff, including some of the latest quilting and textile art publications, which I have the pleasurable task of reviewing.

It certainly hasn’t taken me long to figure out the many wonderful aspects of working for this magazine, but one of my favorites is our amazing readers. Your involvement and enthusiasm for Quilting Arts are so encouraging, and are what make it such a strong publication.
Lucky for me, part of my responsibility as assistant editor is communicating with all of you about what you love—and what you hope to change—about Quilting Arts. Your Letters to the Editor are absolutely essential to what we do here, so please keep them coming! I want to hear it all—from the articles that you really didn’t like to those that you loved.
