Behind the Scenes at the QA Gifts Photo Shoot

21 Jun 2010

We’ve been having balmy, 80-degree weather for the past few days, but that didn’t stop us from decking the halls for Christmas—or at least for the annual Quilting Arts Gifts photo shoot at Pokey’s house last Wednesday. And Lindsey and I made this little video so you could see what exactly goes down at a QA photo shoot…

Yes, it’s a whole lot of fun, but it’s also hard work—and we owe a big thanks to our art director Larissa Davis and photographer Larry Stein who toiled away all day long. As you can see, getting the perfect shot takes lots of time and even more patience. Then again, it’s well worth it when the cooler weather returns and we’re ready with dozens of beautifully photographed projects!
