This was a fun quiz! It really made me think. I got 2 out of 4 correct so I have some work to do. I have never tried screen printing and this has motivated me to try same. I have some dyed fabric that I would like to transform.

The fabric is bautiful, I thought I would get more than 1 right.

I have a lot to read up on on silk screening. I do a lot of fabric painting, currently.

I was surprised that she accomplished so much with each screen. I gave her credit for more steps on two of the fabrics.

I watch your show on PBS and have recently received the emails. I was intrigued as any good sewer would be, with the idea of free fabric to add to my stash! I do not receive the magazine, so I did very poorly on the test. I LOVE the results and want to experiment to achieve that effect, but my own designs. At the present time, I cannot afford a subscription to your magazine, but will visit this website often and try this on my own. Your show airs on Saturday morning, and I enjoy watching your guests and the ideas they bring to us.

Two out of four isn't bad, I guess. It was thought provoking to look closely at the images to determine if they were discharged or printed, etc. I haven't received my copy of the issue yet - I can hardly wait to read the full article! Kathie G

I have failed miserably. I do have the magazine and have read the article. It proves a point to really understnd you must actually do the technique.

I have seen many examples of discharge work before, and haven't been overly impressed. Your work gives the technique a whole new dimension. Even with an art background, I had difficulty telling where one technique ended and another began. Gorgeous!
