Welcome to the New Quilting Arts Community! It's Move-in Day!

At long last...we have our own online community just for contemporary quilters! 

Like moving into a new house, it takes time to familiarize yourself with your surroundings, unpack your stuff, decorate your rooms, and meet the neighbors. To kick off move-in day, I have created a few short video tutorials to help you learn how to get around. Since this site is brand new to all of us, I'm fairly sure we'll encounter some cracks in the walls that need some Spackle and a coat of paint, so please be patient as we grow this community and make it the best possible place to discuss quilting, share our art, and make new art quilting friends. And of course we would love to hear what you think, so come on over and chat with us and meet your new neighbors in the forums.

Also be sure to stay tuned to my blog as I will be hosting giveaway raffles (books, DVDs, notions, fabrics) for those who join the QA community.

Hello, I'm looking forward to making more creative type quilts. I am an Artist, Quilter and instructor,

and would like to use these talents  on my quilts, ATC's and postcards.

Want to thank you for creating this website, so necessary. Spent hours searching all kinds of websites relating to quilting art, here is one that regroups everything I was looking for in a touch of a key. So easy too.

Unfortunately, after having created my profile I'm unable to upload pictures of my work and it looks like I'm going around in circle finding out whom to contact in that case, still unclear to me so if anyone out there could help, I'd appreciate. Apart from that the site is wonderful and I'm sure I'm gona have lots of pleasure browsing and using it.

Hi Pokey, I am new to the blog, and I saw your show on Saturday, where the artist used a picture of a bee to make a quilt block, using different types of fabric to make it look a bit three dimensional, can someone direct me to the link?
