Since completing my "Sopranos" quilt, my muse has flown the coop. I'm tapped out at the moment... but we tape our next series of Quilting Arts the end of the month so somethin' better come to mind soon! In the meantime, I decided to take a long walk yesterday in Boston with camera in pocket in hopes for some inspiration.
A photo diary of my afternoon:
A mother swan looking over her eggs in the Boston Gardens.

My favorite picture:

I tend to feel a little nostalgic at Faneuil Hall. One of my many jobs in college was at The Sharper Image where I peddled gel insoles one summer. Made $3 for every pair I sold!

It has always humored me that "my" street sign is right behind my favorite Irish Pub:

I think he's had one too many...

Summer concert series at City Hall Plaza.

A fun thing about this city: walk 50 feet and you'll stumble upon yet another hallowed burial ground. In the cemetery (below), rests Paul Revere, John Hancock, and Sam Adams, to name just a few...

And last but not least, our capital. Even though I'm not happy with the folks on Beacon Hill for recently raising our sales tax, I think it's still beautiful.

The End.
