As we put forth more publications, videos and other fun offerings, it’s become more important than ever to invite talented and creative people to join our crew. It’s with great pleasure to announce that Jenn Mason is joining our Cloth Paper Scissors editorial team as Editor! We have great confidence that Jenn will make Cloth Paper Scissors an even more colorful, fun, and cutting edge publication.
Immersed in the collage and mixed-media world, Jenn is an accomplished artist, has authored several arts and crafts books, has written articles for magazines (including Cloth Paper Scissors), filmed her own CPS hour-long Workshop DVD this past fall, and overall is very committed to the arts. Furthermore, Cloth Paper Scissors will have its own online community in early 2010 (similar to our Quilting Arts community here), and that's where you can connect with Jenn, read her blog, and share your mixed-media work with her in the photo galleries. Cate Prato (formerly our features editor for Cloth Paper Scissors) has been doing a fantastic job as Editor of Studios, and drum roll…will be putting together four super-sized issues of Studios next year. She will also be managing many online initiatives. (What can I say? We like to stay busy around here!)
Barbara Delaney will continue to be Assistant Editor for Cloth Paper Scissors and will also be helping Cate with Studios. Helen Gregory will continue to be Managing Editor for Cloth Paper Scissors and our Quilting Arts family of publications.
We have more exciting stuff for 2010 that I'll be announcing soon. In the meantime, please help me welcome Jenn to our team!
