Announcing the "Save My UFO" contenders for this next Quilting Arts TV taping

17 Feb 2010

Thanks to everyone who took the leap and posted a picture of an uncompleted art quilt in our Save My UFO gallery! For this brand new segment for Quilting Arts TV, we thought to bring about 10 quilts, and cover the gamut in terms of art & design challenges.

If your quilt-in-progress was not chosen for this next taping, we still may be able to bring it to the following taping this summer. We hope that everyone will continue to post their UFOs and that people will offer comments, advice, and words of encouragement. Let's get these UFOs completed and tout our successes!

The following artists should send their UFOs soon so that they arrive in our office no later than Wednesday, February 24.

"Color Gone Wild" by Skb2000

Winter Woods by Maggie in SC

"The Blue Girl" by Chris 68

"Heron" by Page 52

"River's Bend" by Peggy H

"Memories of Drumheller" by Jody Johnson

"Hundertwasser Wannabe" by Cay Denise

Ohhhh, Yea!!

I can hardly wait to hear what folks come up with.  Too bad I don't have access to QATV  :(.    I will have to find someone who does.

I am so honored to be included.  Thanks a bunch.

My quilt is on its way. It will leave Canada tomorrow and hopefully be in by next Wednesday (they say 4 to 5 business days). Thanks for selecting my quilt. I can't wait to see what suggestions you have to assist me in finally completing the quilt. I don't know that I have access to QA TV. I will probably need to wait until the video comes out!
