Behind-the-Scenes Footage: Quilting Arts Holiday Video

29 Nov 2010

There are certain fundamental laws of physics that can’t be disputed. You’ve got your theory of relativity, your theory of gravity, equations like E=MC2…which I can’t quite remember off the top of my head what that means but Einstein says it’s important.

Another little law that can’t be disputed: Give a Quilting Arts editor a Flip Video camera and it equates trouble!

Now that I live in Boulder and travel back to Boston frequently, I am very excited to reconnect with my Quilting Arts and Cloth Paper Scissors clans, and this last trip I knew it was time to bond and create our second holiday video.

Thing is, we’re not the most coordinated bunch, but we do like to laugh, poke fun at ourselves, think of scheming crazy things, and celebrate this wonderful arty community that we’re a part of. Some behind-the-scenes footage of our latest holiday video…

Yes, I am able to stuff myself into a suitcase! Think I can put that on a resume?

We couldn’t stop laughing…now if we can just make sure my hair doesn't get caught in the zipper...

For this video snippet, please take extra special note of Managing Editor Helen Gregory. The voice behind the camera is that of Larissa Davis, our Art Director. We all really did get into the spirit of the thing!

Happy Holidays from your goofy, fun-loving editorial crew…
