Yes, that was ME - the retired teacher on her way to Maine. THANK YOU so much for the offer of door prizes. I will be intouch soon about that at the e-mail address you gave me.
I'm just catching up on e-mails after coming home from an amazing workshop called Magic, Mischief and Mayhem. Three artists from Austraila traved to the USA to teach 60 dollmakers some fatastic surface desigh techniques.
Thanks Again,
  Robbie

I hope I'm not too late to respond. That show in August sounds amazing, and I'd really love to help out any way I can. Unfortunately we're already committed for shows this August but would love to send some donations for door prizes and the like to the show. If you email info@quiltingdaily.com and say you'd like some door prizes someone will get in touch with you shortly.

And if memory serves, you're a retired teacher and sent in an art doll for our first challenge, yes? You and your husband were on your way to Maine for a vacation? I remember you! Thanks for coming to our store--I love it when I get pulled out of my little editorial hole to go meet an artist and give them a hug!

WOW, what a pile of stuff going off to Chicago!
Have you ever considered taking “your show on the road” to Cincinnati, Ohio? The Zonta Club of Cincinnati sponsors Quilts for Change. Participation in Quilts for Chance helps support organizations working to eliminate violence against women. This year’s show is in August, which might be a little too soon, but it is a biennial event with another show in 2008. www.quiltsforchange.org
Ellen Anne Eddy is one of the many wonderful teachers this year, and I’m taking her bobbin work class.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at your retail store last year when we stayed with Doreen Gibson in Stow.
I wish I were coming back this Spring to Shop!
