Quilting Arts TV Episode 1213--Mixed Bag

25 Jul 2013

Quilting has many variations, themes and ideas; it's hard to define it just one way. First up, Barbara Schneider has a lesson on digital printing. Begin with a photograph and software and end up with custom cloth. Then, Vanessa Christenson shares a little girl's tote featuring twisted flowers. Last, Ana Buzzalino shows how to apply a facing to an art quilt instead of using traditional binding.

Barbara Schneider, right, shows Pokey Bolton her steps to produce digital printing on her own cloth.

Could you please tell me how I find the program or website for designing and printing your own fabric with your photos as shown in this series #1213

To Marmeelou;  Go to the home page, left side under the heading "Favorite Patterns" to find the downloadable instructions for the little girl's tote.

Yes, I am also interested in finding the software and fabric manufacturer for converting photography into fabric. Is it possible to acquire  Barbara Schneider's

E-Mail address or contact for information? Thank You.

I am still trying to find information on the software and manufacturer for converting photos into fabric mentioned by Barbara Schneider on show 1213. Is there a contact number or E-mail address? Much appreciated.

To all the ladies who asked about the printing of the fabric and the one question about the lovely girls tote, click on the blue "here" word right above the first picture (under the video) and it will take you to the episodes. Then click on the one you wish to get the information from. Once you download--- the information about the location for the material is at the bottom of the download.

The girls tote is in the last one listed in the bunch. Hope that helps you guys. Just incase not. Here is the link
