701 Quilt Design
This show features some of the most innovative fiber artists of today as they share their ideas for making one-of-a-kind quilts. Jean Wells is first and demonstrates how to create an elegant portrait finish for art quilts. Then Jeannie Palmer Moore achieves unique effects by painting with water-soluble crayons over a stitched design on canvas. Finally, Leslie Tucker Jenison and Jamie Fingal introduce the “Beneath the Surface” quilt exhibition, and share some tips on how to properly ship quilts.
