811      Quilts Gone Wild

Our Quilts have gone wild today- we’ve got 3 examples of designers who think not only outside the box – but off the quilt as they incorporate some really interesting materials into their art quilts. First up, Mary Pal is back – I can’t wait to show you these amazing stitched portraits using “cheese cloth.” Then it is Pokey’s turn for a new supply – leather – yes you can really embellish, paint, and design using leather. Finally, it is back to quilt festival and Cheryl Sleboda will show us how to incorporate LED lights into your quilts.

I really need to find out about that little bag at the end of the show. Please tell me there is a pattern for it somewhere!

I am interested in the zipper pouch that Pokey used when demonstrating her leather surface design.  It's like a mobius zipper pouch.

I would like to know where I can get the pattern for the bag Pokey showed her painting on?  Would it be possible for you to email me the directions??  What a great show and so many interesting subjects keep up the great show.
