Make Quick Work of Last-minute Gifts
with our Small Quilting Projects eBook:
Free Quilt Patterns:
5 Small Quilting Projects from Quilting Arts

Just when I think I have everyone on my gift list covered, it hits me: What about the dog sitter? And I have nothing for Friday's dinner party hostess. And my niece really helped me out this year--she deserves a little something extra.

That's when I'm grateful to have a cache of small quilting projects up my sleeve: unique handmade gifts I can whip up out of fabric scraps in an afternoon using an easy pattern.

At this busy time of year, we at Quilting Daily thought it would be a good time to offer five of Quilting Arts Magazine’s top small quilting projects, gathered together in one FREE eBook for you.

Note: Due to the high demand when this free eBook premiered last week, a few people experienced difficulties logging in to claim theirs. We apologize for any inconvience.

In this eBook, some of Quilting Arts Magazine’s favorite fiber artists present five quick and easy quilting projects together in one convenient download. The easy patterns and instructions are all right here! Each project makes a perfect gift for friends or for yourself.

With all the traveling I do, one of my favorite quilting projects is this personalized, quilted luggage tag. And as we prepare for the hustle and bustle of holiday travel, what better way to make your luggage stand out at baggage claim? Our own managing editor, Helen Gregory, shares her pattern for this easy project.

Normajean Brevik has cleverly engineered a card case and mini wallet that dispenses a business card with the slight tug of a ribbon. You can't believe the amazement when someone asks for you card and you pop one out like magic. Imagine how thrilled your gift recipient would be if she pulled on the ribbon and a gift card to her favorite store slid out. Two gifts in one! This is another easy quilted project that can be made from fabric scraps and bits of embellishments from your stash.

In Free Quilt Patterns: 5 Small Quilting Projects from Quilting Arts, there’s a project here for everyone, from beginning stitchers to advanced quilt artists. Beginners can start with personalized Fabric Luggage Tags and then move on to the 12-Pocket Colored Pencil Roll. People who like mixed media and printing will love stitching up some the Winter Journal Covers for the writers in their lives. More experienced artists will find stitching the Little Treasures Gift Boxes and Magical Card Case and Mini-wallets addicting.

Best of all you don't need any special tools or supplies to make these quick and easy quilting projects. All you need are your fabric scraps, sewing machine, and our free quilting patterns.

Is it still possible to get a copy of this free eBook?  I downloaded the more recent one with 7 patterns, but it didn't include the pattern for the personalized, quilted luggage tag.  I would love a copy of that pattern as I want to make a few tags to give to my oncology team that help me survive cancer twice! :-) Thanks for your assistance! ~ Marenea
