How did you get the Best of QA in just one book? I have learned so much from Quilting Arts about how to use things you might never think of to make art, as well as how to use products I now consider requirements for a working studio. The best technique is probably "Don't disregard anything that might work to express yourself!"

There is not just one thing I have learned many from Quilting Arts. QA has allowed me to stretch my mediums, be daring with recycled items and other items I would not have thought about. QA is the most artistic quilting publication on the market.

I applaud Pokey and her staff for their never ending creativity.

I enjoyed using twigs, stones and hay for outside dying of materials

The best: Not to be afraid to try new things! And that mistakes in a quilt really just are design opportunities; don't panic...

I read all that I can about binding, hanging and just general presentation. After all the work that goes into a piece, presenting it well is what gets it noticed

I think the best tip I've learned from Quilting Arts is to have an open mind, be willing to step outside of my comfort zone and try something new. It's so easy to stick with what you know and stay in your comfort zone but Quilting Arts has really opened my eyes with the variety of ideas and techniques out there to try. I look forward to exploring more in the New Year!

The best tip I learned is to just go for it and experiment, especially with free motion stitching. Thank you for a wonderful magazine!

The best tip? Step outsid my comfort zone. Don't be afraid to try something new. Every project is a learning experience even if it doesn't turn out!
