every year, I make up different Valentine's day pins. I think the 1-1/2 inch size is the best; this year, I stitched and painted with acrylics.. Last year, I stitched and did bead work. either way, I like the work enough to do more every year!

I practice on "sandwiches" about 18 x 18.

I photocopy them to keep track of designs I like.

Then, when I have a stack of about a dozen, I take them to a nearby cat shelter for bedding.
