Beware! The Quilting Police will descend upon you. I belong to a Linus Project group. At last meeting several ladies were critiquing some of the finished quilts and were practically measuring the space between the quilting lines down to the mullimeter. &nbsp;Being a novice quilter, I asked what the problem was and was told that the space should be no larger than one&#39;s curled up fist. &nbsp;&quot;Baloney&quot;, I thought. &nbsp;If one is using bonded batting (which these quilts contained), what would matter if they were only quilted with a big X . &nbsp;After all, these are only crib size quilts.
