I am trying to find the floor quiltinging frame like our Grandmothers used. Does anyone know where I can find one at a minium cost.
Hi there MemawTuck. What kind of frame was it? The kind that was rolled onto bars? My grandmother's antique frames were just 4 pieces of wood with evenly drilled holes. The backing was sewn through the holes with twine on all 4 sides and the layers were basted on top, and the wood rested on chairs for support off the ground. We used to have many a quilt party at the house with those!
