The panels you buy that you make wall quilts out of  that are printed.  Are these copyright free or do you need to get permission to sell them.  Thank you.  Janet Erbes

Some panels will have the copyright and resale notice on the side selvage of the fabric.  In most cases, fabric lines with major characters such as Disney characters, have limitations on your ability to resell them.  That's because there are licenses in place for those characters on other products.  For example, if you buy Disney fabric and make pajamas out of them to sell, some other company owns the license to make and sell Disney pajamas, so that kind of sale would be limited or prohibited.

In most cases, items you make from someone else's pattern or panel, the copyright belongs to someone else and you should write for express permission before you sell them.

Hope this helps!
