Hi,

I'm new to Quilting Daily and fairly new to quilting too.

I'm just now learning how this forum works, so bear with me.

Are you working on a quilt now?  I just finish a wall quilt for my daughter in law of my grandchildren.  Took a class online. I'll read how to post to show you, only if you don't laugh.

Time to get back to work.  I try to get it posted tonight.

Hi,

I would love to see it!

Hello and thank you for your reply.

It's fun to learn but oh my, there is so much to learn.

We'll all have to stick together and learn from each other.

That is Just Gorgeous Cath.  I am so impressed.

I have never done anything like that but wow, I sure would love to try it.

I am really new to this.  I took a beginners class with a friend several years ago and we made a Flying Geese quilt top (still not sandwiched or quilted)

Then I took another beginning class this past year with a friend and we did a sampler type thing that is ready to quilt.

I have done some small projects on my own.  Table runner, small Christmas wall hanging, and just tried doing different kinds of blocks.

But yours is absolutely gorgeous and so unique.  I feel honored that you showed it to me.

My other 'love' is Photography, so I would love to do something like this of my dog.

I am new to all of this as well. I recently saw an epsidode that was a picture of a dog in fabric. It looked just like my sons German short-haired pointer. Would love to try it. Ironically I m trying to complete a baby blanket I started in 1980,Yes 1980, for him. He is finally having a child of his own and I hope to complete the blanket after 34 years. CRAZY!! If you have any ideas as to where I might start to get a copy of the dog I would be so grateful.

Thank you Stone Cricket for the kind words.  I just sent it up to my son and daughter in law for a late Christmas gift.

Now I have to look for some easy quilt patterns so I can make a quilt for the 17 year old grandson.

Again thank you for taking time to look at my beginners work.
