Fabric Trees

I ordered the Quilting Arts Gifts from you a few weeks ago and was all excited when I got it in the mail.

Wanted to make the fabric trees and was looking for the supply list but couldn't find it. Realized my pages went from 58 - Fabric trees, to 76 -Art Scarf, and then 60 back to Fabric Trees instructions. Page 59 is missing.

Can this page be emailed to me? Thank you!

I thought I read (or did I just dream it?) that the 2012-13 Gifts issue would be available digitally. That would be so super - being able to print out just the article you want and carry it to your work table. Not to mention the easier storage for those of us brimming over with books and mags.

Tell us, please - is that going to happen?

Page missing from the Holiday 2012-2013 issue??

The Fabric Trees on page 58 look like a lot of fun to make. But page 59, which probably should be the first page of the instructions is a picture of the Art Scarf with Beaded Fringe. Page 59 is also identical to page 76. Is it possible to get a correct page 59 on the web somewhere so I could print and insert into my magazine?

After seeing the tree skirt, I knew I wanted to make it. My previous one was conscripted by my cat. My problem is that it gave directions to get a full size patter online, but after much searching i can't find it anywhere on the site. Please help or I'll have to bypass this one.

I have been searching all local places for the 2011/2012 Gifts magazine... and can't find it when is or was it supposed to be on the stands?????

I got my email this morning reminding me of the upcoming issue of QA Gifts for 2011. I am a subscriber of QA mag. I do not get it digitally because -- well, basically, I'm a magazine freak......;-) love to have them, hold them, flip thru the pages...etc......

I purchased the very first Gifts issue, but have not purchased one since.......I feel that $15.00 is a lot for one issue of a magazine,,,,so was wondering if you could offer it as a one time purchase annually -- digitally ????? If you don't now, could you? That is something I would consider purchasing.

Rag Dolls

I saw these dolls in the newest QA Gifts and I had to make them. They are for my 2 girls. The purple and green is for my eldest who tends to match and is more reserved. The pink one is for my youngest who never matches and her tights always clash. She already has her own style.

The dolls were easy to make. I double stitched the seams and zigzaged the legs. I was afraid of them coming off.

Scribble Boxes

Hello, need help with Scribble Boxes. I'm using Clorox Bleach Pen, on 5 different green fabrics and NONE of the fabrics took the bleach....no bleaching, left the bleach on a good 5 minutes..nada! Could it be the pen? I tired 5 different fabrics but do the pens lose their bleach power over time? The pens may be 8-10 months old. advice is greatly appreciated. love the boxes and love the others' posted results from the other projects.

I don't know who else here has seen the new QA Gifts, but this new issue is really great! I loved every project. Keli Perkins' rolling pin recipe "books" are just to die for, I would love to get one of those as a gift!

What were your favorite projects from this issue? Would love to hear from you!

I have been trying without success to purchase the current "Quilting Arts Gifts" issue. I am in Winnipeg, Canada.

I have travelled recently and checked places like Chapters in Edmonton and McNally Robinson in Saskatoon, in addition to several Chapters locations and McNally Robinson Booksellers in my home city of Winnipeg.

They all have the current Quilting Arts magazine (which I already subscribe to) but no Quilting Arts Gifts.

Any suggestions?
