Hi, I'm genie and I live just outside Omaha, NE, but S.E. Kansas will always be "home." I've never really been a traditional quilter but instead started out making art quilts -- before it became so popular. I'm pretty much self taught other than a few studio art classes and years of home ec in high school. Now I love being able to take those basic skills learned way back then and just run with them. For me, being an artist is who I am, not what I do.
