Hi there. We are progressing nicely with the cabin. I have given the exterior two coats of wood preserving paint and the interior has been wired and insulated. The floor covering is being fitted tomorrow and I hope to move my stuff in the next day(Thursday). I have plenty of storage space under two worktops and a small area to hang things up. Would be glad of anyones tips on storage, that they find works well for them. I have clear plastic boxes -but I am sure there are many ideas out there that just havent occurred to me yet!! Would be glad of some tips from you all. My cabin measures 10.5 feet by 10.5 feet, so storage is pretty tight.
Clear plastic boxes is what I stored my fabric in for many years before I switched to wire baskets from IKEA. I think that's a great solution and you can have a box for various colors depending.
I also had a box for scraps that were too large to throw away, and one for beads, buttons and the like.
I can't wait to see how your place comes out!
