Hi everyone,
I just subscribed to Fiber Arts magazine. I will recieve a bonus issue - yeah! I'm anxious to see articles about my favorite subject- art clothing. I love stories about reusing old fabric to jazz up clothing. I never seen to have enough time to make anything for myself, so my New Year resolution is to make garments for myself. I may not add all the flourishes to my garments but I want ideas for touches of art. (I'm a hidden artist in a 61 yr. old frumpy body). I also resolve to find a type of media that appeals to me enough to stick with it. I'm a dreamer and can't seem to start wearble art projects. If you don't mind listening, I'll let you know how I'm doing. Jennyg in MI
I also do clothing embellishment - wearable art.
Coats and jackets were my "favorite media" before moving to the Phoenix area, where the temperatures are too high for such garments.
Would like to see how your efforts turned out. Have you posted any photos?
