Hi from Canada:I have not done much quilting, but was bequeathed my mother-in-law's quilting stuff. I am going to make a baby quilt this fall but in the meantime have been asked to repair an old quilt. The top is what he wants. The back is very thin but whole. The stuffing is mostly in place.
Should I take the old batt out and use a new one? or just put a new one and the new back on top?
Any thoughts?
Secondly, is there any danger to making a tied quilt for a baby?
Thanks,
Katie
