    We started out using Golden fluid acrylics and they dried stiff. When we switched to Pebeo Setacolor paints the fabrics stayed soft. We learned a lot and are eager to try it again.

    I tried the painting ,and gelatin monoprint, and then tried to free motion quilt on top the paint was thick and hard feeling, not soft to the touch,did I use the wrong kind of paint? The directions don't say what kind of paint is used. Anyone has an idea?

  • Starting to work on miniture quilts

    Mixed media collage-type quilts: kind of like crazy quilting- I'm very excited about it! This gives me no boundries! I get to quilt, embellish with any differant types of materials, embroider... The possibilities are endless!

  • Losing my mind: gesso and watercolour?

    Hi all - am I losing my mind, or was there an article on using gesso under watercolour paints in an issue of CPS? I have turned the house upside down trying to find which issue it was in! Thanks in advance, Caity <---- stuck in bed with the flu but determined to at least enjoy my reading time!
