We started out using Golden fluid acrylics and they dried stiff. When we switched to Pebeo Setacolor paints the fabrics stayed soft. We learned a lot and are eager to try it again.

I'm not sure of the advantages but if you want to see more how the gelatin is used, there are several tutorials on U-Tube that illustrate how it works and how to get good designs from it. I think you can just go to U-Tube and search for gelatin monoprinting.
