  • Hey from WV

Hi Everyone! I've been interested in drawing and painting portraits ever since I can remember. A few years ago, I began to sew and quilt. I wanted to take it a bit further and combine quilting with painting to create an art piece. I found quilting arts magazine and was in heaven!!! I look forward...

  • My name is Laura and I'm an art-and-craft-oholic...

Hi Everybody, I just signed up and created a profile for the Quilting Arts Community and thought I'd say hello. I love to use any and all art and craft supplies in my work and my projects lean more towards the 'Cloth Paper Scissors' type rather than the 'Quilting Arts' type, only...

Hi Quilnan, that's it I think that Krylon Fixatif, it definitely rings a bell. Shipping aerosol cans to this island should not be a problem, they are thousands shipped over here all the time to supply stores like Ace. I guess you're right: in the islands one gets inventive and creative simply...

  • Hello from Boston, MA

Hi, I was wondering if anyone might have any insight, opinions, preferences to embroidery machines. I'm looking to purchase a machine that I am not subjected to buying the design cards... I'd rather have something I can download into a pen-drive and use a USB port. The only local shops around...
