Opposites Attract Reader Challenge: More art!

“Patterns and Hugs” by Pam Darrow of Bostic, North Carolina

“My daughter Judi and her boyfriend Jean-Luc are opposites in many ways-including their height-so they seemed the perfect subject for this piece. The image was printed on fabric using a computer.  I bought orange fabric and cut a petal-shaped linoleum block and printed it four times with a hand press using blue block printing ink. I then appliquéd them onto a piece of the original orange fabric.” Includes thread sketching in blue and orange thread.
