Lisa Thorpe is the author of Quilting Arts Magazine's October/November installment of "Off The Page: Sketchbook Keeping for Textile Artists." Lisa writes about her artistic process in "The iPad as Sketchbook" where she shows the creation of a quilt, from the kernel of an idea to the finished piece, using her iPad and digital media.

Above is her quilt "Self Portrait," 12 1/2" x 10". Below is her quilt "Still Life with Tulips," 20" x 16".

Her article," From Flat to Fabulous with Digital Monoprints", is a great resource of information for making a digital collage and creating unique fabric using the computer. She has provided this digital image for you to use in developing your own digital monoprint designs.
