It's based on a lovely Mary Engelbreit design. I am pleased with the way I've incorporated other materials into it, but my skills were not great when I started. So the edges are uneven, and I don't know how to even them up without losing some of the design.
I took this picture of an old barn located in a subdivision in Warren Michigan. I traced the photo onto muslim, painted it with just acrylic paints, added some free motiion machine stiching, some material for the grass, added some embroidery for the leaves, and satin stiched around the edging and then hand sewed the edging with thicker threads I had in my stash.
