Italy quilt

This quilt was made for  "A Thousand Colours for Abruzzo" - quilts for the children affected by the Italian earthquake. This was quite a challenge since I had not made a quilt for a young child before. The quilt is currently in Italy with the organiser, Roberta. In September it will be given to its new owner. I hope it will be liked.

I think you did a great job of capturing the bright happy colors for a children's quilt and how very generous of you to make such a treasure for the lucky child.

Well done, it is a special thing to give your time and talent like this, I'm sure your quilt will be cherished in Italy, not just liked.

I love your use of playful colors.  This is not only a charming quilt, but one that goes out into the world and does good.  You can't beat that.   (I'm also happy to see another tuxedo cat.  They are great characters!)

Any quilt approved by a quilty kitty is a good one. I'm sure they'll love it. It has great warm colors and is so cheerful...just what they need!
