Shirt from discharge

I painted a bleach paste onto some of that orange plastic fencing and then placed the painted fencing on top of the brown t-shirt. I left it on until it had discharged the original dye sufficiently and then rinsed the shirt to get all the bleach out. The back is similar to the front. I feel as though it isn't finished. Any suggestions?

How about cutting the "finished" neckline and hem off and lightly serging the edges?  You could have the bottom edge uneven or one side higher than the other.  Use what you cut off to add a funky pocket.
