Hand dyed and painted, machine quilted

After a fun fabric dying day at home, I poured the left over colour mixes over 8x11" muslin rectangles. I painted the floral motifs with Lumiere paints, defined with thin Pigma markers and free motion quilted

I think you did a marvelous job with the dyed piece of muslin. A perfect way to use it.

Seeing this for the first time while trying to get warm -- it is SNOWING IN HOUSTON (how rare is that?). The gorgeous colors in this quilt have just zapped away the grey and brought such cheer to my day. It is wonderful!
