Inspired by a class with Lorraine Torrence, where she taught us her technique of zigzagging fabric on a background and covering with bias tape, I fused, painted, embelished, embroidered, and free motion quilted to create this first third of a 'celestial' tryptic.

Thanks a lot! It is the first time I dared post some of my stuff in this forum.

I am dying to get started on the second but I've been derailed by other projects for my daughter, charity for my guild, etc...

But my real interest is exploring this artsy quilt avenue...
