Chimneys was the subject for my Journal Group a few months ago, and this is what I came up with. A rather industrial look using paint sticks to give the smke affect. I was quite pleased with the overall look that I achieved

The part that looks like water, is that a paint or fabric that you found that looks like that, I just love it. I may be silly but do you use the paint stick before or after you finish the sewing? Way to go I really like this!
Hello - it is a piece of fabric that looks like water, great fabric I don't have much of it left now and have used it in many different projects. I used the paint sticks last of all- they are a fantastic product. Glad you all liked it.
