Prickly Pear Cactus

I used hand-dyed fabrics for the top, free-motion quilted, then embellished with hand-stitching and seed beads.  This was inspired by a photo I took at an arboretum several years ago.  Finished piece measures 15 5/8" X 16 7/8".  It recently won second place for Wall Hangings at our local county fair.
