Awhile back, I hand-dyed a piece of fabric using CD's and spring clamps to resist the dye. The result was interesting, but when I attempted to make it into a whole cloth quilt, it fizzled. It languished on my work table for months, then last spring I put it up on the design board, and finally decided to cut into it. This piece is one of several I salvaged. I zigzagged the edges, did some decorative stitching, and used foil and foil glue to embellish. I found some inexpensive frames at our local drug stores, and created a series. This one is 9" X 17".
