This art quilt was made for a quilt challenge in my local quilt guild (Pecos Valley Quilters, Roswell, NM). The theme was "Butterflies".
The background was painted with SetaColor paints. The butterflies are a combination of applique, stamping, stencils, and painting, some stitched down flat and some attached just in the center.
