rescuehouse at Terschelling

Near the coast of Holland are some islands, they all have  rescuehouses at the beach for ship wrecked people.

This is a photo of my father in 1960 at Terschelling. The house is still standing!

I used the photo on cotton sheet and painted and quilted around it. I won a price with it last month. My father died in 1966, so this is a picture of the good old days....
