I started by piecing strips of fabrics together to make a patchwork unit 18 x 45 inches
This was enough to make 5 Quilted Zipper Bags
I layered it with batting and backing then machine quilted feathers all over.
Later a zipper and handle were added before I sewed up the sides.
The bags measure about 8 inches square.
Great way to use up strips, also great machine quilting practice.
Gave them away as gifts.....great size for make-up bags.
