Tons of thread painting! This is based on my photographs of my rose bush and the hummers. I thread painted the hummer on osnaburg, cut it out, and appliqued it to this quilt. The background fabric is a polyester. On the leaves, I used both tulle and organdy. I have machine quilted it but have not bound it, yet.
