Old Man and the Fish

I made this for my brother's 65th birthday.  He had visited Ketchikan and caught this monster of a fish.  Actually, it is a ling cod.  I was so interested in this photo that I had to make an art quilt of it.  It is 11x14.  The photo doesn't show the teeth on this fish!  I used silver metallic thread.  I also used acrylic paint on my brother's face.  The piece is heavily machine quilted.
